On Thursday January 29, we teamed up with Juan and Diana Mejia from the Fort Lauderdale office to attend the annual Abilities Awareness Night held at the Quest Center in Hollywood.
This event was a wonderful opportunity for parents, educators, and coaches to connect with agencies that provide valuable resources. We were delighted to be there with great organizations such as the Dan Marino Center, Best Buddies and others. Near and dear to us of course were Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.
Other new friends were made with Juan and Angie who own and operate Brave Kids PPEC (bravekidsppec.com) in Coral Springs and outreach director, Nechama from Friendship Circle (friendshipFL.org). If you have kiddos with complex or unique needs, look them up and tell them that you heard about them from First Day Homecare!
